The Royal Burgh of Linlithgow Reed Band is one of very few civilian bands in Scotland which has a military configuration, in that it includes reed, brass and percussion instruments.
We undertake a wide variety of marching jobs across central Scotland and have two concerts a year in March/April and December. We have also undertaken a number of other jobs to help local and national charities raise money.
We have undertaken several trips to the Hochsauerland region of Germany, most recently in July 2016 to mark the band’s Diamond Jubilee.

We rehearse each Tuesday in Linlithgow Academy Theatre from 7.30-9.30pm. Any player who is below ABRSM Grade 5 level is encouraged to join the Training Band in the first instance. At present we are particularly needing trombones, tubas and percussionists but would welcome new members in any area.
If you would like to enquire about the band playing at your event, please Email our Secretary, Karen Crook.
